Habboon Pod League is Habboon's new Sport! Join / create a team and play a series of matches for a chance at being in the Grand Final and winning the Season. Search Hisense in the Hotel and go to the room called HPL l Main Room and read the stickies there for a bit more information. Or add Hisense in the Hotel and ask him any questions you have, or even send him a PM on the BoonBoards. HPL is new, and is in need of a total of six teams before the first season can start. There are a maximum of six players in a team, but only 4 on a field per team therefore if a player cannot make it, one of the reserved two players may be able to. HPL is professionally run, with an active owner (Hisense) that is always watching the matches and updating the Ladder, to see which team is #1. The ladder works like most sports ladders do, a list of the teams plus the teams Wins, Loses, Points For and overall points. Information on these can be read in the Main Room on one of the stickies. The top three teams on the ladder after the 10 rounds will go to the finals where 2nd and 3rd on the ladder will vs each other, and the winners will vs 1st on the ladder to determine the champions of the season. HPL is not soccer (football in UK), nor is it Rugby, Basketball, Hockey, or any games you know of. The sport revolves around two sides, offence, and defence. The offence side will have a player seated on a pod, and their goal is to move up the field, by moving the pod using the left ALT key, then sitting back down on it before the defence side does. In order for the offence team to score a point, they must be seated on the pod, while it is behind the oppositions white line, not ON the white line (white doormats). Defence's goal, is to have fast reactions and get to the pod when the offence side moves it, before the offence side does. If a defence player sits on the pod, the pod will be rotated, and the defence will become the offence. If a team scores a point, then the pod is automatically given to the opposition of that team at the opposition's try line, where it gives them the chance to score a point back. I could go on for days about how to play HPL, but it'd be much more easier, if you're interested, to simply add Hisense and ask for tutorials. He will then teach you how to play ASAP so you understand the basics, and then join. Team captains also may hold tutorial sessions for the players of that team that are less experienced / efficient then the others that are. If you have any questions, feel free to reply below or ask them in the Hotel or in a PM, thanks, see you on the field.
