Yes! It's that time again. I've been watching most of the Western Conference round one matchups and it's been pretty exciting!

Unfortunately, I'm a Laker and we finished the season 2nd to last so my home team isn't in playoff contention, but I still love watching basketball. :(

Anyway, the top 4 teams to win this year are (in no particular order): San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, Indiana Pacers, and Miami Heat!

There's already been an incredible upset with the 8th place Hawks beating the 1st in the Eastern Conference Indiana Pacers so it's not gonna be easy for anyone.

I'm currently rooting for Spurs, Warriors, or Clippers (GO CALIFORNIA!).

    Who are you rooting for?

  17. As for the Western conference, I'm definitely rooting for San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, Portland Trail Blazers. (Not sure which team will get into the Finals, but most likely Spurs or Trail Blazers.)

As for the Easter Conference, I'm rooting for Indiana Pacers. (the bench players need to play more, I believe Scola/Turner/Mahinmi/Watson are decent players and the starters, like PG24, Roy Hibbert and David West need to rest..)

    In my opinion:
    1) Heat will sweep the Bobcats
    2) Tough match going on between Wizards/Bulls & Nets/Raptors (I would fancy Raptors to beat the Nets)
    3) For Spurs/Mavs, it's a battle between Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan (Both are amazing forwards who have been in the league for over a decade) and Monta Ellis and Manu Ginobili (or Kawhi Leonard or Marco Belinelli)
    4) For Rockets/Trail Blazers, it's a battle between Dwight Howard and Lamarcus Aldridge (Rooting for L.A!)

  31. Wizards were much healthier this time round. That's time they managed to defeat the Bulls. Besides, Carlos Boozer isn't helping much. I guess only Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson were one of the hardworking ones.

  36. yeah, when he's good, he's can put up double doubles every night.

    UPDATE:
    8 Teams remain
    San Antonio Spurs
    Portland Trailblazers
    Los Angeles Clippers
    Oklahoma City Thunder
    Indiana Pacers
    Washington Wizards
    Brooklyn Nets
    Miami Heat

I really want the Washington Wizards to win because I love rooting for underdogs, but the Pacers do have what it takes to contend the Miami Heat so I'm really split in that matchup.

The pacers don't exactly have what it takes in there current state honestly. They're not playing how they were playing last year so the only real contenders to the heat would be the Thunder, Spurs and maybe the clippers?
