  3. NOTE - This post relies on some understanding of the FPE Import/Export text editor - An explanation can be found in my previous post.
This post has a large number of images.

    What is Stacked Flooring?

Stacked Flooring is an optical illusion using the FPE. It works by having one lower level (e.g. 0), at the back of the room, and one higher level at the front (e.g. 9). The original stacked floor is one of the premade habbo rooms. Note that you can not step/build stairs between stacked floors. You must use wired/teleports to change the floor your avatar is on.

The number or size of floors you can make depends on how big your floors are. Due to the maximum height of 33 tiles, a 5*5 set of floors can only reach three high. However you can have some large rooms which are only two floors high with large floors overlapping.

    The Final Room
The room I am building will look like this...

    How do I Stack Floors?

Build the base level of your room.

Working out the location of the second level
Open the floor plan editor, and starting from the top, left corner of the section you want a floor above, count the diagonal number of tiles, until you get to the edge. Begin with 0, 1, 2 ... til 8, 9, and then start from a, b...

    0 - upload_2015-10-18_21-53-28.png 1 - upload_2015-10-18_21-53-28.png 2 - upload_2015-10-18_21-56-40.png and so on until the edge (9) - upload_2015-10-18_21-46-9.png

Do this for another two tiles (b) - upload_2015-10-18_21-46-22.png

Replace the tiles you want to be covered with the number/letter you counted to (b) starting at the tile two down and across from the edge.

    You will get the following.

Check for errors if you do not get this.

Adjusting the Height of the new level.
Use the Text FPE (Import Export) to increase the height of the level as needed. (For example I'm adjusting it to 'g')

You should end up with something a little like this...

Note that the higher floor is lower down on the Visual Editor, yet higher in the preview/live room.
You must do it this way around or the wall will only show on the higher floor, if it shows at all, and therefore it can be difficult to place wall furni.

Depending on how you want to layout your room, you might decide to adjust the wall height and floor thickness (These will need resetting each time you use the FPE as they otherwise reset to default.)

Let me know how I've done please, and what tutorials you might want next.

THIS IS SO AWESOME THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH because I wouldn't have had the patience to figure this out myself (despite really wanting to design rooms like this!!)
